Citation X to be superseded by G650
When you fly privately with Jet Booking Direct, you get access to some of the finest Jets in the world. One of these is the Cessna Citation X. The X is particularly notable as it is the fastest civilian Jet in the world. That’s means it flies faster than any Airliner (e.g. Boeing/Airbus) topping out at an incredible Mach 0.92. This insatiable level of performance means that flying the X gets you to your destination faster than any other mode of transport – save strapping yourself to a missile!
However, the X is not a new Jet, it has been around since 1996. Whilst this is not exactly old by Jet standards (some Airliners you may have flown in could be as old as 30 years) it is now set to be superseded shortly by the Gulfstream G650. The G650 is currently under development, but when complete and released it will exceed the X’s maximum speed by .005 Mach. Whilst this is not a huge amount, it will also be a newer Jet with more modern and updated interiors, avionics and all round performance. Additionally, the G650 has a maximum takeoff weight three times that of the X, and the range is a whopping 7,000 nautical miles – double that of the Cessna.
So the G650 will be able to fly you further, faster, and easier than ever before. And of course, as soon as it is available, we will be able to charter the G650.
